Kiripotib farm and African Kirikara tours

Join us for a tour of Farm Kiripotib where you will be introduced at first hand to a working livestock farm in the Kalahari. You will meet the local people; acquaint yourself with the working practices involved in farming with cattle and sheep, whilst an informed commentary from host Hans von Hase details both his modus operandi and the challenges to be met when farming in such harsh surroundings.

A highlight of the tour shows off African Kirikara Art, the creation of Hans’ talented and artistic wife Claudia. Guests will see the indigenous karakul carpet weavers skilfully plying their trade; visit the goldsmith studio with its visionary pieces and finally the fabulous farm gallery containing a veritable cornucopia of carpets, rugs, jewellery, art and curios - all part of African Kirikara.
